Ads, Promotions, Affiliate Links, and Making Money
We have ads, promotions, affiliate links, and similar ways of making money. We’ll link to products we either know and love OR have seen great reviews for but haven’t tried yet. You don’t pay extra for anything – in fact, you’ll often save money or get longer free trials.
If you leave a comment, share a post, make a purchase, or otherwise engage with the site, your name, email, and other identifying information may end up in our hands.
We promise not to do anything nefarious with it.
Your data will only end up in someone else’s hands if it’s their service, not ours. For example, if you sign up with Gravitar or Discus, or you click a link to purchase something from a third party vendor so that we get commission (thank you!!) then of course they’ll get your data. But don’t worry, we only link to vendors and services that we trust. We’ll never share, sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your data.
We’ll only email if you ask us to. We’ll stop if you ask, too (you can either click unsubscribe or simply reply and let us know).
Could our site be hacked? Of course. In this day and age, nobody’s 100% safe. However, we do employ common-sense strategies to secure your information (and our own) like an SSL certificate, Word Press security plugins, and a 9mm from Springfield Armory.
Just as an FYI, I’m a big fan of Miss Kay Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame. She’s one rockin’ woman and I have a lot of respect for her as both actor and human being. I even played her (and Ken played Phil) at a church youth group event. So much fun! However, my name is my name and not a play on her name or copying her brand in any way.
Pretty much everyone, from family and friends to bail clients to people I meet at networking and business events just automatically call me “Miss Kay” (nobody even has to tell them to do it).
It’s taken me a few years to embrace, but now that I fully have, I decided to brand myself as Miss Kay.
